On the way to Yosemite.

           Tried to get up to Yosemite soon after Sundays storm that dropped around 4 feet in the Sierra's but two dentist appointments in two days botched that plan. Finally on Wednesday we started up highway 140 from Mariposa to Yosemite Valley.
                                                           Found our fantasy hillside cabin.

We learned that we were driving through the oldest rocks in the Sierra's. 

           How would you like to be driving a 40 foot motorhome and come around the corner and see this rock bridge in your way?

As we approached the Yosemite Valley we are reminded of the dramatic flood in 1997
