Quartzsite Naked Guy

Some of you may remember a blog of mine last year that included "The Quartzsite Naked Guy" Paul Winer. He owns and operates the Reader's Oasis Bookstore here in town but some may not know he is also a musician. Paul was known as
"Sweet Pie" and he played (& yes, several were clothing optional) concerts and clubs for 25 yrs (1965-90) in the northeast & across Canada. Last night Paul came over to our RV park and put on a great show, according to my wife. I was under the weather and did not make it.

Here is Paul from last years blog. Quite knowledgeable on books as I had asked about a particular birding book and within 5 seconds he had the book in my hands. Paul does wear a crocheted sock on his privates, held up with fishing line.

Donna was happy to see that when playing the piano Mr. Winer is fully clothed. He tells stories that he got all his clothes from yard sales thru the years in Quartzsite.

Looks like he is going "Hawaiian" in this song.

I'll go with a logging or environmental song here?

I take it this must be a cowboy song.
I asked Donna if she didn't think it strange that a self proclaimed "Naked Guy" has more costume changes than Cher in a Las Vegas musical? Through out the show he told funny stories, some about his music and lots about aging (which we all could relate to). Very entertaining, funny and boy can he play the piano!!
Paul is accompanied by "Mr Tub" Ralph Martin, who plays a mean wash tub bass.

Below is a clip of his Boogie Woogie music. Guess I missed a fun night...oh well, next year.
