A visit with our granddaughter and family.

My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter came to visit us in Clarkston, Washington. Denny and Laura visited for the day and left their precious little daughter in our care for two days.

It is so awesome that they drove down from Spokane to drop off little Ashley.

Granny had a full schedule for Ashley, to keep her from getting bored...such as taking the dogs for a walk every few hours.

Swimming in the Snake river on a hot day is great!

Granny is so much more patient than I am. Here, Ashley and Donna work on a crafts project with beads.

Ashley, with Granny's help, made this beautiful necklace.

Opa has plans too...I want to show Ashley some of the science of hydrodynamics.

It's very important to know how to float, where to float and adjusting for any current. Opa is an expert at proper floatation...
:-)

Granny braids "red, white and blue" ribbon into Ashley's ponytail for the 4th of July festivities.

Granny and Ashley also made little pudding cups with strawberries, whipped cream and blue berries to conclude the 4th of the July theme.

Talk about ready for the 4th!!!!!
We had a great couple of days with our granddaughter and hope for more soon.
